2023 was set to be a milestone year as Connexis transitioned into New Zealand’s largest tertiary education provider, Te Pūkenga New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology. As this year unfolded it is New Zealand’s infrastructure that has had the spotlight due to the devastating flood and storm damage caused by Cyclone Gabrielle.
Connexis officially part of Te Pūkenga
As of 1 January 2023, Connexis | Te Pūkenga has officially transitioned from being a subsidiary to sitting within Te Pūkenga New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology.
NZC in Surveying Level 4 leads to CCNZ BOP Apprentice of the Year champion
Reegan Reid of Waiotahi Contractors is well on his way to being qualified through Connexis | Te Pūkenga with the NZ Certificate in Surveying Level 4, which he will complete in February 2023. As the standard-setting body for more than 140 Construction and Infrastructure qualifications, Waihanga Ara Rau are celebrating Reegan’s achievements and progress.
