OUTWARD BOUND SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED for 2024
Helping our ākonga (learners) reach their full potential
OUR OUTWARD BOUND SCHOLARSHIP IS ABOUT PROMOTING THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERSHIP IN THE INFRASTRUCTURE INDUSTRY.
As the infrastructure industry grows, strong leadership is becoming increasingly important in the workforce. We want to equip our ākonga with the skills and experience required to take the next step in the industry.
Connexis is offering scholarships valued at $5000. This will cover the Outward Bound course fee as well as a contribution to travel and other costs.
This is possible thanks to The Infrastructure Education and Training Charitable Trust grant that Connexis was awarded in 2023.

The Professional course is a five-day programmes structured for current and aspiring leaders of any industry. Developing the next generation of leaders, these courses will test resilience, adaptability, confidence and self-awareness through a series of trials.
These trials will challenge you as you tramp, camp, navigate the waters and engage in activities that utilise the Marlborough Sounds natural terrain as a learning environment. Additionally, workshop sessions led by skilled facilitators are incorporated into the program to ensure that you fully absorb and apply what you've learned to your work life.
