The role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be an integral part of a results-oriented group where your contributions will be greatly valued. You will take charge of crucial responsibilities within the Accounts function as well as delve into different aspects of finance.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Efficiently handle invoice processing, account reconciliation and credit card administrationSystem Maintenance: Administer CentrePort’s accounts payable software and provide user training
  • Compliance and Records: Ensure adherence to internal policy and control requirements and maintain finance records
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively address billing discrepancies with vendors and promptly resolve related concerns
  • Financial Insight: Generate financial reports to facilitate decision-making processes
  • Payroll Assistance: Provide reliable back up for payroll processing and resolve employee inquiries

What you will bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • two years Finance experience in finance functions, preferably in accounts payable processes, controls, and their maintenance, with exposure to payroll and general accounting duties
  • experience with finance systems administration, enhancing operational efficiency
  • strong administrative capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • the ability to effectively manage a diverse workload with varying deadlines and priorities
  • proficiency in MS Office applications, reporting software and systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • proven ability to work effectively with individuals across different levels
  • strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
