MANAAKI FUND
Your success and hauora (wellbeing) are important to us.
The Manaaki Fund has been created to help ākonga (learners) to reach their career goals. The purpose of this fund is to support ākonga so they can continue with their training, despite challenging times or changes in circumstances.
This fund is available to all active Connexis learners with the purpose of providing financial support for those in situations of hardship that are impacting progress within their programmes.
All applications will be considered by Connexis and the outcome will be communicated to the applicant by the indicated announcement date for each application round. Connexis may request additional information from the applicant or from their Customer Service Account Manager (CSAM).
Key Dates
- 1st October – Applications open
- 8th November – Applications close
- 25th November – Results communicated
Terms, Conditions & Eligibility
- 6-month minimum as a learner with Connexis
- Value of fund will be issued in one lump sum deposit of $500.00
- Application must be validated by a Connexis Customer Service Account Manager (CSAM) to ensure criteria is met
- Applicant must be able to prove ownership of the nominated bank account
- Applicant information will be confidential unless the applicant as agreed to a follow-up for media purposes
- All applications must be submitted by the submission cut off date.
- Cannot have received a Manaaki Fund grant previously
