Vector Work Type Competency (WTC)
WTC 1: Restricted Area Entry & Network Safety Induction
Classification
Entry into a Restricted area: Distribution and Zone substations, distribution transformers, pit pillars and tuds where no exposed conductors are present.
Who Should Attend
Any persons required to carry out non-electrical work within restricted areas such as civil and ground maintenance works, including civil works, lawn mowing, fibre equipment installation and maintenance, and fibre works.
Training
- NZ Certificate in Electricity Supply (Introductory).
- Vector Network Safety Induction.
Duration and cost
- 5 days face-to-face training for 10 people: $2,700 (excl. venue hire).
- 4 hour webinar refresher: $285 per person.
- 4 hours face-to-face refresher for 10 people: $2,850.
Refresher every two years
