Programme Reviews
At Connexis, we regularly review our programmes and micro-credentials to ensure they meet industry needs. We do this in partnership with industry groups through a co-design process, and your input plays a vital role.
From time to time, we invite wider industry voices to contribute through short surveys. Your feedback helps us improve training pathways and ensure they reflect real-world skills and experiences.
We welcome you to take part and encourage you to share the surveys below with your networks.
Thank you for your time and valuable insights.

NZC in Infrastructure Site Supervision (Level 4)
Introduction
Connexis are undertaking new programme development of the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Site Supervision (Level 4). We are seeking input from industry members to ensure it contains the skills and knowledge required for your learners.
Background
This work follows on from the Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council scheduled 5 yearly qualification review. The outcome of this process found that the recommended changes to the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Site Supervision (Level 4) necessitated its expiration and replacement with the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure (Single Site Supervision) (Level 4).
Key changes are:
· Single site was removed from the title of the qualification to enable a wider range of infrastructure industry personnel to achieve the qualification.
· Credit value of the qualification was reduced from 110 to 65 to focus on the critical skills required for infrastructure site supervision.
· Strategic purpose of the qualification was updated to strengthen the scope of practice, and to clarify the target group of learners as those who have already achieved a technical qualification in an area of specialisation.
· Graduate profile outcomes were amended to focus on the critical skills and knowledge required for infrastructure site supervision and to ensure they are fit for purpose
Initial consultation was conducted with an Industry Working Group, who endorsed the unit standards that make up the draft Connexis programme including the GPO 1 elective options, which will accommodate a wider range of work-based learning contexts and mitigate potential evidence collection challenges.
The changes between the expiring and new version of the qualification are summarised in the NZC in Single Site Supervision (Level 4) – New Qualification Comparison document.
Action required
