WTC 5: LV Service Connections & Streetlight Works
Classification
Installation, connection and disconnection of customer overhead and underground LV service connections. This includes connection of the neutral conductor and LV live working procedures must be used.
Who Should Attend
Any person required to install and maintain street lighting, and to disconnect and/or reconnect streetlight installations to the overhead or underground network.

Duration and cost
- 2 day face-to-face course for 10 people: $5,700
- 4 hour webinar refresher: $285 per person
- 4 hour face-to-face refresher for 10 people: $2,850
Cost excluding plant and venue hire
Refresher every two years

Prerequisite
Must hold a recognized Electrical Qualification: Line Mechanic, Electrician, Cable Jointer, Technician, Switcher or equivalent.
Must hold First aid Unit Standards
