New Zealand Certificate in Traffic Incident Management (Level 3)
The NZC in Traffic Incident Management provides trainees with skills needed to respond quickly and efficiently to traffic incidents.
Graduates will be able to assess, respond to, and monitor traffic incidents to ensure the safety of road users and restoration of normal traffic flows.
This programme takes nine months through a combination of theory and practical assessments and can build on the NZC in Temporary Traffic Worksite Management (Level 3).
This is eligible for Free Trades Training.
New Zealand Certificate in On-site Wastewater Management Systems Design (Level 4)
The NZC in On-site Wastewater Management Systems Design puts problem-solving at the forefront of learning as trainees become qualified to design and inspect systems for domestic dwellings where sewer availability is limited or water recycling systems are desired.
Graduates will be able to communicate with stakeholders, evaluate sites, understand risk management, and be apply to apply knowledge of regulatory requirements.
This programme takes 12 months to achieve and is completed through a blend of e-Learning and block courses.
This is eligible for Free Trades Training.
Micro-Credential in On-site Wastewater Management Systems (Level 4)
Holding a Micro-credential in Wastewater Management Systems gives trainees the foundation knowledge to confidently review designs and inspect wastewater systems of single dwellings with up to ten people.
This Micro-credential is intended for regulatory and compliance staff who do not intend to design wastewater systems but will need to review designs and inspect systems in their roles. This differs from the full On-Site Wastewater Management Systems Design qualification where you also build knowledge in designing wastewater systems.
Micro-credentials are shorter in nature and this particular one will take only four months to complete through a blend of eLearning and block courses.
