It’s that time of year again when we prepare to celebrate and recognise those within the civil construction sector who invest in their people and industry through work based training.
We are the proud sponsors of the Connexis Civil Training Awards held on the second day of the Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) Conference, which this year will be on 4-5 August in Christchurch.
The awards recognise employers who have embedded training across their businesses, creating career pathways for their workers, and improving capabilities in the civil industry.
Skills shortages are one of the key challenges facing the civil sector and it is becoming increasingly important for employers to actively play their part in addressing this issue.

Winners will be provided with an electronic logo to add to their email signature and other collateral to showcase their commitment to industry training. They will also get coverage in a media release to go out after the event.
